Blogs I Read

These are the blogs I read fairly often.  I have a blogroll now that will list these, but some of them I wanted to comment on at length.

Rachel Lucas.   She’s the one that started it all for me.  From my area of Texas, now living in England.  Probably one of the more gifted writers on the subject of daily life that I’ve ever encountered.  She no longer writes about politics because she hates the flame wars that occur, but I still love the blog.

Ace of Spades HQ.  Politics and humor all rolled into one.  Sample headline: Osama bin Ladin’s Son Dies After Hearing Hearbreaking Performance of “Cat’s in the Cradle” and Scream of Incoming Missile, But Mostly Scream of Incoming Missile.  Seriously, it doesn’t get much better than that.

RedState.com. More Conservative Politics.  See a pattern here?

Michelle Malkin.  Smart, sharp, conservative commentary.

Barefoot Running University.  Jason Robillard’s site dedicated to barefoot running.  I’m a daily visitor (almost stalker) now.

The Maple Grove Barefoot Guy.  A giant of a man filled with awesome, he also has a great blog about barefoot running and fitness.  He once mentioned me by name in a post!
